Our organization is proud to announce it is now officially a public charity with tax-exempt status under Section 501(c) (3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code. Contributions donated to Miss Zebulon Scholarship Competition are fully tax-deductible. Donors can deduct contributions they make to our organization under IRC Section 170. The Zebulon Organization is also qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, and transfers of gifts under Section 2055, 2106, or 2522.
The Miss Zebulon Scholarship Competition is further classified as a public charity. The Miss Zebulon and Miss Zebulon’s Outstanding Teen programs are official preliminary competitions to the Miss North Carolina and Miss North Carolina’s Outstanding Teen pageants. These programs provide a unique opportunity for young ladies to gain valuable pageant experience as well as life skills. The competition is intended to encourage and reward scholastic achievement, communication skills, talent, and community service. Miss Zebulon 2020 and Miss Zebulon’s Outstanding Teen 2020 will be crowned on Sunday, October 13, 2019 at (Time to TBD) at the Jones Seby B. Performing Arts Center on the campus of Louisburg College.
